Privacy Policy
Dilos Photo for Mac · Last updated October 23, 2026
What the app accesses
With your permission, Dilos Photo reads your Photos library to decide which photos to archive under the retention rules you set. It reads each photo's date, favorite status, albums, location and files in order to archive them.
Where your data is stored
- Archived photos and their details files (date, location, albums, favorite) are written only to the folder you choose.
- The app's records and settings (which photos were archived, your rules, a log of removals) are stored on your Mac, inside the app's own container.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else.
Removing photos
Photos are removed from your Photos library only when you click Remove and confirm in macOS's dialog. Removed photos go to Recently Deleted in Photos, as with any deletion in Photos.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- No servers: the app does not send your photos or information about them anywhere. Photos move only between iCloud Photos, which Apple operates under its own privacy policy, and your folder.
Feedback sent from this website
If you use the feedback form on the Dilos Photo page, we store what you send: your message, and your name and email if you give them. We also store your country and browser type, and a one-way hash of your IP address that is used only to limit repeated submissions; your IP address itself is not stored. This is kept in a database operated for us by Cloudflare.
We use it only to improve Dilos Photo and, if you leave an email, to reply to you. We don't sell or share it. To have your message deleted, email us from the same address or tell us roughly when you sent it.
Children
Dilos Photo is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
